Jamie Stevens, MS, CAP

Chief Executive Officer

Jamie Stevens has worked on the frontlines of the mental healthcare space for more than two decades. Her professional journey started 20 years ago on the clinical side of the industry as a therapist and methadone counselor. Since then, she’s held various operational and leadership roles, including her current position as Chief Executive Officer at the Lakeview Health family: centers of excellence in addiction and eating disorders treatment.

Jamie has been part of the Lakeview Health team for more than 18 years, beginning as a primary therapist before being promoted to clinical director. She was advanced to the role of Vice President of Program Services for a three-year stint before transitioning into the Vice President of Operations position.

In 2021, she helped steer Lakeview Health through the pandemic as newly named Chief Operating Officer. She was named Chief Executive Officer in October 2021.

As CEO, she is responsible for ensuring all facilities run smoothly, overseeing clinical programming, directing the medical and operational teams and overall day-to-day management. Additionally, Jamie leads business development and strategy initiatives, fostering sustainable growth.

Jamie graduated from the University of North Florida with a master’s degree in health science and a is certified addiction professional (CAP).

Mandy Jack, MA, LMHC, LPC

Vice President of Clinical Services

Mandy Jack is a licensed mental health counselor who has worked with dually diagnosed patients since 2002. Mandy started her career working with children and families in community mental health including working as a regional director in community mental health. She joined Lakeview in 2010 and has previously held positions as the Clinical Director and Senior Program Director. As the Lakeview Health family’s Vice President of Clinical Services, she is responsible for overseeing all clinical services, creating programming, and overseeing the clinical, patient advocate, nursing, behavior health associate, and wellness teams.

Mandy earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana University and a master’s degree in mental health counseling from Ball State University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida and Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.

Sarah DeSantis, LCSW

Clinical Director

Sarah DeSantis is the Clinical Director at Koru Spring. Her goal is to help those struggling with eating disorders reach full recovery by providing a unique and individualized treatment approach.

Sarah has worked in the eating disorder field for over eight years in a variety of roles including admissions, clinical, and leadership. She is passionate about helping those overcome and explore the underlying drivers of eating disorders including body image concerns, trauma, perfectionism, family dynamics, low self-esteem, and interpersonal issues.

Sarah is originally from New York and obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Long Island University and her Master’s degree from Fordham University. Sarah enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and reading.

Theresa ‘Terry’ English, M.Ed.

Primary Therapist

Terry started at Lakeview Health in September 2021 as a 4/10 therapist, working at each of the three facilities. She eventually transitioned to a primary therapist role at the Rose women’s substance use disorder program. In November 2023, she moved to Koru Spring as a primary therapist.

Her key initiatives in this position involve serving as a positive role model as well as sharing empirical knowledge gleaned from years of experience along with many sources and different treatment milieux. Terry does this while remembering that each resident has a story and deserves our best.

Her accomplishments include being a therapist in a rehabilitation facility for health care professionals; interfacing and negotiating back-to-work contracts with boards of registration in nursing, pharmacy and medicine. One off shoot of this experience was a private practice and a continuation of this role with recovering health care professionals. She implemented a series of ten-week yoga therapy sessions at a yoga studio near her home where her belief in the work of Alice Miller and others promote the idea that, the body speaks the truth. Yoga is one of those practices that helps quiet the mind and promote deep healing.

She wants you to know she has a passion for truly helping women with their voices, because, doesn’t active addiction stifle our voices? She had children young, and they truly made her a conscious human being. The experience of being a young mother was the impetus for Terry to look deeper within herself. Simply put, a therapist saved her life, and she is just attempting to pay it forward.

Madison Harvey, MS, RMHCI

Therapist

Madison Harvey is a Therapist at Koru Spring and has been a part of the Lakeview Health team since 2022. She provides group therapy and support, helping residents to work through anything and everything that comes up on their healing journey. Madison has experience providing trauma-informed care and has a passion for empowering and affirming women. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from the University of Florida and her master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Jacksonville University with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern in the state of Florida.

Savannah Haynes, MA, RMHCI

Therapist

Savannah Haynes is a primary therapist at Koru Spring, she joined the Lakeview team in August of 2023. In her role, she conducts individual, group, and family therapy sessions and works to ensure that residents are meeting treatment goals while exploring their internal sense of self. Individualized care is a priority for Savannah as she tailors her approach to meet the needs of each person. She fosters an environment that allows residents to discover their worth and begin working towards self-acceptance. Savannah believes that every individual not only has the capability, but also deserves to achieve a fulfilling and satisfying life.

After working as a therapist with college-age students, adolescents, and children, Savannah recognized the frequent pattern of eating disorders within many of her clients. While in these previous roles she found an interest in further pursuing work specifically with individuals struggling with eating disorders.

Savannah holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University with a primary focus on psychodynamic therapy. She is actively pursuing a certification as an eating disorder specialist to reflect her passion within the field. In her free time, she enjoys surfing and spending time with friends and her cat.

Masha Sardari MS, RD, LDN

Clinical Nutrition Manager

Masha is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a Master’s in Nutrition who practices through Health At Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive and Mindful Eating. Masha has experience in a variety of specialties including long-term care, rehab, dialysis, private practice, substance use and eating disorder treatment facilities. She works with clients through medical nutrition therapy, meal support, meal planning, grocery shopping, and gentle nutrition.

Avelina Gavrylenko MS, RDN, LDN

Registered Dietitian

Avelina Gavrylenko (Paly) MS, RDN, LDN is a Registered Dietitian with Master’s in Nutrition and Dietetics.  Avelina believes in following a non-diet approach with emphasis on Intuitive Eating and mindfulness. She has worked in a variety of settings; including hospitals, long-term care facilities, substance use and eating disorder centers. She is dedicated to her role in recovery and believes in using the transdiagnostic approach and working with a multidisciplinary team.

Avelina provides Koru Spring residents with meal support, counseling and education. She loves providing space for residents to process their emotions around food, discuss what food means to them, tap into nostalgic food memories, and encourages viewing food as healing.

Macie Thornhill, RDN, LDN, RYT

Registered Dietitian

Macie Thornhill, RDN, LDN is a Registered Dietitian with a bachelor’s in nutrition and dietetics. She has been working at Koru Spring since 2023.

Using the principles of Intuitive Eating, Macie teaches her clients how to eat with mindfulness and ease. She is passionate about helping individuals heal their relationship with food and find balance with eating. Ultimately, she wants to see her clients thriving in life knowing that food is the body’s best source of fuel and joy.

Macie holds a bachelor’s in public health from Stetson University (2017) and a bachelor’s in nutrition from University of North Florida (2019). Macie completed her nutrition internship at the University of Delaware (2020). Macie is also a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher. She is actively pursuing a certification as an eating disorder specialist.

Gabrielle Provenza

Aftercare & Alumni Coordinator

Gabrielle Provenza is the Aftercare and Alumni Coordinator at Koru Spring; she began working with the Lakeview Health family in 2024. In this role, she facilitates residents’ transition into life beyond the Koru Spring program, offering ongoing support and guidance. From connecting former residents with resources to fostering a sense of community, she ensures residents have the tools and networks needed for sustained recovery. Some of her key initiatives include organizing regular alumni events, providing access to support groups, assisting with next step treatment placement, and offering ongoing support to ensure sustained recovery and an encouraging community for former residents of Koru Spring. Gabreille is passionate about the space, drawing on her own recovery journey to inspire and connect with residents.

Gabrielle is currently enrolled at Florida State University, pursuing a degree in Psychology, aspiring to become a LMHC specializing in Sports Psychology. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine and holds certifications in Behavioral Change Coaching and Health & Wellness Coaching. With a passion for fitness and sports, particularly cheerleading and gymnastics, she prioritizes maintaining positive mental health while actively participating in athletic endeavors.

Amanda Wilson

Executive Chef

Amanda Wilson is the Executive Chef for the Lakeview Health family. She started with Lakeview in March of 2022. Her role is to oversee the Food Service department in its entirety. Focusing on menu development and creativity, to provide the ultimate food service experience to all residents. Chef Amanda’s goals are to encompass multiple cultures, cuisines and ingredients to provide an “around the world” experience while utilizing fresh and local ingredients that focus on the healing through the power of food.

During Chef Amanda’s career, she was recognized as one of Food Service Director’s 2021 rising stars during her tenure as a Corporate Executive Chef for Mayo Clinic. She was also recognized as one of the top performing chefs for Morrison Healthcare. After careful consideration into the next step in her career, Lakeview became a place to call home. Chef Amanda is a certified ServSafe instructor and Proctor as well as a certified member of the American Culinary Federation.

Chef Amanda attended a dual enrollment program at Frank H. Peterson Academies of Technology for culinary arts and graduated with an associate degree in culinary and business management. She is a member of the culinary advisory board for Terry Parker High School, and Frank H. Peterson. Chef Amanda is passionate about the art of culinary and how food brings people together. She enjoys fishing, going to the beach, and spending time with her family and friends.

Dana Suitor

Director of Client Services

Dana Suitor joined the Lakeview Health family of treatment centers in November 2022 as an Associate Director of Business Development. She joined the Lakeview team after learning about the development of Koru Spring, her passion and knowledge have since been instrumental in creating and promoting this program.

Dana has 15 years of experience in relational outreach and is passionate about finding the appropriate level of care for those struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions. As part of her outreach process, she works closely with patients’ family members to support them through the treatment journey. She has also received multiple awards for being marketer of the year and has trained new employees on the role of business development and fostering long-term relationships.

She has served as secretary of the Phoenix International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (iaedp) chapter board for 6 years and is currently an iaedp member. Dana enjoys spending time with family and has two dogs, Sophie & Daisy, who are everything. She also enjoys Nascar and attending races in person, whether it is in Phoenix or some bucket list tracks.

Susanne Arnett

Regional Client Services Representative

Susanne Arnett is a Regional Client Services Representative at Koru Spring. She is based in central Mississippi and covers the Southeast. With more than a decade of residential treatment experience, Susanne has worked with clients of all ages with co-occurring substance use, trauma, mood, and anxiety disorders. She has extensive knowledge and specialized experience working with eating disorders. She enjoys building relationships with professionals, and helping clients find appropriate treatment to begin their journey to recovery.

A Louisiana native, Susanne has a bachelor’s degree and is pursuing her graduate degree in clinical mental health counseling with an emphasis in trauma treatment. She is a Board member of the Collegiate Recovery Community at Mississippi State University. Susanne is one of the founders of the Mississippi Eating Disorders Association for Professionals. She previously served as the Social Media chair for the Alabama chapter of iaedp, the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals.

She is a sustaining member of the Junior League of Jackson, Mississippi, and a former member of the Junior Auxiliary of Madison-Ridgeland. She lives in Madison, Mississippi, with her husband, Greg Smith, and three children: Sam and Anna Cate Arnett, and Chandler Smith.

Kelly Kelley, LCSW

Regional Client Services Representative

Kelly Kelley joined the Koru Spring team in September 2023 as a Regional Client Services Representative proudly supporting Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Kelly aims to increase eating disorder awareness, resources, and recovery by sharing Koru Spring’s clinical mission and treatment philosophy among providers, residents, and families throughout the Midwest.

Kelly worked as a clinician for over 15 years in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, community mental health centers, non-profit organizations, and acute psychiatric hospitals. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she specialized in working with children, adolescents, and their families until moving into a business development role in 2016. First working as a local clinical liaison for an acute psychiatric hospital, and most recently as a Director of Business Development for an eating disorder treatment facility, where she provided national support to clinical partners.

Kelly received her undergraduate social work degree from Southeast Missouri State University and her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Kelly is grateful to be able to utilize her education, expertise, and experience to help patients and families navigate the complexities of eating disorder treatment and is truly honored to be a part of their recovery journey.

Kelly lives in Toledo, Ohio with her husband Patrick and her cat Sullivan. She enjoys making memories – attending football games in the fall, concerts in the summer, and traveling year-round.

Matthew Martin

Regional Client Services Representative

Matt Martin joined the Lakeview Health team in 2023 and transitioned to the Koru Spring team in October 2024. Matt has years of experience assisting others in finding treatment options that best meet their needs. His primary focus and passion in life stems from a deep-rooted desire to help others achieve their goals. There’s nothing more fulfilling to Matt than being able to lend a hand and make a positive impact in someone’s life. Whether it’s offering guidance, support, or simply a listening ear, Matt believes in the power of compassion and connection.

Matt has journeyed through various roles, dedicating himself to the substance abuse field. It was not until he found the power of collaboration that he felt he was truly able to transform the lives of those around him, offering hope and support. Matt recognizes that the path to healing and recovery was not a solitary one, but a collective journey.
